In this video, I talked about the lack of proper education or talk around sex especially in Nigerian homes. As a Nigerian, we refuse to talk about sex and we shame any attempt of self-expression in a sex-related matter. A lot of Nigerian parents find it so hard to talk to their kids about sex and sex-related matters, for example, if they see two people kissing and caressing themselves, they either cover the eyes of the child or send the child to go to bed. Instead of the parents to explain what is going on, they leave the child clueless and curious and the child finds out by other means or sources. Society is a wild place and looks for the most innocent person to prey on because of a lack of proper information. We don't even have sex education in our curriculum and a lot of teenagers just do exactly what they see in movies, pornography, music videos, social media, etc.
