I have to be careful filming in Katong Shopping Centre because all those massage shops have people watching out the area. Quite a scary experience.
I strongly support strict enforcement against all illegal and vice activities in Singapore.

Located on Mountbatten Road, Singapore, Katong Shopping center is a shopping mall that began operation in 1973 and has consistently withstand the test of times. The unique architectural design of the complex displays an old flame that has managed to retain its vibrancy amidst intense pressures from other developing malls and shopping centers in the southeastern part of Singapore.

I am shocked to see so many massage parlours in Katong Shopping Centre. Some said almost all of them provide happy ending.
Some saw massage online advertisement that wrote: "Hey guys !!!! Feel mind stress, body tired ?? Come drop by to our massage shop u will release ur stress and tired with our pretty masseuses".
So how can one tell the difference between an illegal massage parlour and a normal massage business? You can comment and share your thoughts.

"Illegal massage parlour"
1) Individuals found guilty of carrying on a business of providing massage services in an establishment for massage without a valid licence are liable to a fine of S$10,000, imprisonment of up two years, or both.

2) Those found to have breached the prescribed rules and conditions under the Massage Establishments Rules 2018 are liable to a fine not exceeding S$5,000.

3) Individuals who are repeat offenders of the Massage Establishments Act 2017 are liable to a fine not exceeding S$20,000, imprisonment of up to five years, or both.

4) Repeat offenders of the Massage Establishments Rules 2018 will be liable to a fine not exceeding S$10,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or both.
