Renée Adolphe - "Tantra: The Bridge Between Spirituality and Sexuality"

Renée is an International Tantric Holistic Therapist, Relationship and Sexuality Coach, Ordained Interfaith Minister, and Rebirther who began her journey as a  healer more than 23 years ago as a Psychotherapist.  

Her path towards Tantra has been long and never-ending.Through her own journey of sexual healing towards wholeness and expanded pleasure, she has come to believe there is a lot more to sex and pleasure than what our culture has led us to believe.

Growing up with lots of guilt around sexuality as a Christian, Renée always felt she should wait unmtil marriage to have sex, but didn’t. This led her to so much guilt and shame, she felt bad about herself and her core. At the same time, suffering from a feeling of a lack of love, she tried to find that love through sex, which created an internal conflict of emptiness and guilt. Tantra helped Renée love herself and find what she was looking for inside of her. It helped to release the shame and guilt she had been holding on to for so many years. Renée now lives a life of freedom, joy and love. It has been her mission ever since to help others experience this joy of life with pleasure and sexual freedom. 

Prandhara Prem was the name given to Renée at Centro Metamorfose during her tantra initiation. It is a Sanskrit name which means “One who goes with the flow of life and love”. She truly embodies this name, as all her life she has gone with the flow of life and love thus bringing her to Brazil, where she makes her home and had made it her mission to assist others in also going with the flow and opening to love and freedom. 

Renée earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in the USA, in 1999 and in 2013 a Post-graduate degree in Transpersonal Therapy in Brazil. In 2015 she received a certification as a Shamanic Medicine Woman in São Paulo, Brazil and in 2016 completed The Deva Nishok Tantric Therapist training course also in Brazil. She received a Certification as a Tantric Therapist and Rebirther in 2016 and went on to complete a Certified Relationship and Sexuality Coach course in 2018. That same year,, she became an Ordained Interfaith Minister receiving a Doctor of Divinity Degree through Universal Life Church. 

In addition, Renée has studied the NADA system of Ear Acupuncture for stress relief, Iridology, Relaxation Massage, Family Constellation, NLP and Regression. She has been on the path as a Holistic Therapist for some time. In addition to Tantra, Coaching, Rebirthing and Shamanism, Renée works with many diverse forms of Reiki and is a certified Reiki Master in Usui Reiki, SSR and Ma’Heo’o Shamanic Reiki.

Renée assists a wide range of people in overcoming low self-esteem, depression, sexual dysfunctions, relationship problems, anxiety, and stress through therapy, tantric massage, relaxation massage, dynamic meditations, psychodrama, and shamanic healing.

Renée is a highly sought after expert, whose work has been covered on Fox News, CNN and Lifetime’s Married at First Sight series as the Tantric Couples Therapist and Local Brazilian Newspapers (Atarde and Globo). She was a weekly guest on the More Better Man Show in DC- Wol 1450 AM, Africana Power, 89.3 FM (Atl), The Sanctuary Radio Show, 96.3 FM DC, and several podcasts.
