TurnOn is a hybrid work, straddling between sound installation and self-generative performance. The use of the famous Lush by Lovense – the remote-controlled sex toy – brings with it preconceptions and inseparable associations. The aim is therefore to decontextualize an object that is inevitably linked to its context of origin, transforming it into a living and autonomous entity. The 'human' component – intrinsically connected to these types of objects – is eclipsed, concealing the act of control, which is a fundamental aspect of these items.
