Yoga stretch - this is yoga practice with a partner. There are situations when you cannot stretch yourself well, when you don’t see your own problems or your own weaknesses, when you can’t reach some hidden parts of your body. In these situations, the presence of a partner can be very useful. Yoga stretch - is a yoga with partner practice based on the methods of Yoga, Thai massage, Back walking massage and Chiropractic. Yoga stretch - is for advanced yogis!

Yoga stretch massage will help you improve your asanas, relieve a muscle inflammation after an over-zealous yoga practice, relieve joints from stiffness, give a sense of energy flow in the body. Recommended for yogis, dancers and athletes.

Principles:

1. Keep breath synchronization through the whole session. It is very important. Breath synchronization means that when Receiver inhales - Giver inhale, Receiver exhales - Giver exhale, during the whole session. This is the best way to avoid any injuries. Because a change of breath is the best and most clear sign of any tension, pain or discomfort of your partner. If your partner starts to hold breath, or breath becomes shallow you should reduce a pressure force so that partner's breath has returned to normal.

2. Always get feedback from your Receiver. There are five feedback channels: 1) Constant observation of the breath. If the breath becomes shallow, imperceptible or stops, you must reduce a pressure force. If the breath becomes deeper and louder, you could increase your impact; 2) Constant observation of a Receiver's facial expressions. You can see any signs of comfort or pain on the face of your partner; 3) Giver should pay attention to a muscle tone of the Receiver's body during the session; 4) In addition, often ask your partner about his sensations: Am I hurting to you? How do you feel? Pain? Describe your sensations et cetera; 5) Receiver should knock on the floor, in the case of pain.

3. Perform Yoga stretch from a relaxing position only. Your body should be relaxed maximum. Especially it should be relaxed those body parts that meet the Receiver’s body. If your hands, fingers or feet are tensed, it will be perceived as a kind of violence and anxiety.

4. Dynamic method. Do random, inconsistent movements, as if exploring the smoothness and ease of movement in the joint. Your goal is to find areas of movement where there is stiffness and density. Having found such sites, it is necessary to make passive movements of the partner's muscles in this part, until a motion appear. There is no consistency in this method. This study is a search. After completing this skill on one element, apply the style of the dynamic method to the entire massage. You can close your eyes for better concentration during training.

If you practice Yoga stretch, you take total responsibility for your partner. Any case of injuries of your partner is your personal responsibility. To avoid injuries, you must constantly listen, feel, look all body reactions. You should correct your manipulations constantly, based on these reactions.

Remember that your partner is not a machine, for which there is a standard set of tools, your partner even not a man or woman. Your partner is a changeable flow of energy, the physical part of which is changes every few hours. That is why sequences doesn’t work. The above sequence is only for training, after which it must be forgotten absolutely. It's impossible to create a one sequence equally well suited for all people. Even very difficult to create a one sequence that would be nice always for a certain person. The correct way - is to create a new method each time during each session based on the condition of the body at that time. A good Yoga Therapist - is not someone who knows a lot of techniques, but the one who can quickly and perfectly adjust to a certain body.

Contraindications to Yoga stretch:
• Acute surgical diseases and injuries
• Bleeding and susceptibility to them
• Any acute inflammation of blood and lymphatic vessels, thrombosis, pronounced varicose veins
• Aneurysm aortic and heart
• Diseases of an abdominal cavity with tendency to bleeding
• Cancer
• Osteoporosis, over 60 years old
• Pregnancy
• Skin and fungal diseases
• You are afraid to touch and do not get pleasure from manipulation with your body
